Want to study like the most successful medical students do? Of course you do! We've compiled here a set of video tutorials recorded by medical students, for medical students, which delve into exam preparation skills and recommendations for successful studying. If you'd like to read some guides authored by students, we went ahead and put together this collection of winter break studying champions' experiences.
We're always on the lookout for resources that help medical students to efficiently ace their exams and assignments. As a result of some of our recent med student surveys, we've found some other popular resources that are commonly found to be useful alongside Firecracker, such as Sketchy, First Aid and Pathoma. If you're using some of these resources, then we encourage you to check out our in-app reference page numbers, as well as the new Sketchy and Pathoma companion products, which will make your juggling act much more feasible.
A few key themes that we see most of our highest-performing members mentioning: Do questions consistently, and start sooner rather than later. Thinking critically about each question is a practice that you'll need to master before test day! Without any further ado, here are some of our favorite medical students' video tutorials for sound study strategy advice:
- Evan (in-depth product walkthrough)
- Jamie L. (Jamie's YouTube channel, TheStriveToFit, has some awesome videos!)
- Rae (focused on Firecracker for USMLE Step 2 CK)
- Crystal (doing questions is the key!)
- Jessica Cadman (MCAT study tips)
The rest below here are short and sweet synopses of Firecracker in medical school:
