Meet Jason, Firecracker's newest engineer (and medical school graduate)

Posted by Ben Williams on Feb 12, 2014 12:59:44 PM

The engineering team at Firecracker continues to grow! Jason is a 2011 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. While in medical school, he discovered a passion for programming and joined a software consultancy after graduation. He later became an instructor at Launch Academy, where he was responsible for the direct mentorship of junior developers. He is excited to combine his first-hand experience of medical education with a desire to build the next generation of learning tools for his peers.

Jason can be found skiing on Lake Winnipesaukee or in his hometown of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He loves fantasy football and burritos. He and his 4-month-old daughter are both lifelong Denver Broncos fans (yes, still).

Follow him on Twitter or Github. If you tweet him fun / crazy ideas for medical apps or games, he may build them.
